I used to be a big fan of Johnny Depp around when Blow came out.  I genuinely believed his performances, then and since, but Depp has been said to have an arrogant side, and he is a bit reclusive, living abroad and all.  I do enjoy many of his works, and choices of projects, but James Franco is just something else.  A genuine acting prodigy, he lives onstage, completed 3 master’s degrees simultaneously while filming Spiderman 3, is still in his 20s and just - he’s real. THAT SMILE IS REAL. THOSE EYES ARE HONEST.  Watch him make breakfast with Mary-Jane in Spiderman 3.Watch him make you laugh as he teaches you to act.  I see this guy, and I want to be him. I want to emulate him. and that is unbelievably rare for me. I admire the guy.
